Energy Healing Exercises for Anxiety
Healing crystals can be a gentle and nurturing tool for managing anxiety. Their natural energies may help to quiet the mind, soothe emotional tension, and promote a sense of inner calm. Incorporating crystals into your daily routine—whether through meditation, carrying them with you, or placing them in your space—can encourage mindfulness and emotional grounding.
Over time, this practice may support a greater sense of peace, helping you to navigate anxious moments with more ease and balance.
Exercises that can help with Anxiety:
- Sit or lie down and take slow, deep breaths. Place a piece of Amethyst over your Third Eye chakra (the centre of your forehead). Close your eyes and as you breathe visualise the Amethyst drawing out and releasing all the unwanted and negative thoughts in your mind. Visualise them floating up and out into the world, where they can do no harm.
Or,
- If you know that you’re going into a situation or environment that makes you anxious, meditate beforehand holding a piece of Sodalite. Focus on your breathing and imagine that the calming energy of the Sodalite is flowing into your hand and throughout your body, soothing your mind and body.
Or,
- If you are experiencing fear, sit comfortably holding Aquamarine or Rhodonite, and close your eyes. Take slow deep breaths and say the mantra ‘I am strong, capable, and in control of my own peace.’ Now ask yourself what you fear and when you know what that is, picture it as a solid shape or colour and visualise it lifting away from your body and out into the world, where it can do no harm.
Or,
If you find yourself in a pattern of obsession and compulsion sit comfortably, take slow deep breaths whilst holding a piece of Lepidolite and repeat the mantra ‘I will focus on what is important and let go of the unhelpful patterns that do not serve me’. Repeat this phrase until you have reset your thoughts.
