Essential Oils for Anxiety

Lava stones, formed from cooled volcanic lava, are renowned for their grounding properties, symbolising strength and resilience. But more than that, their porous nature makes them excellent carriers for essential oils, allowing for a slow, sustained release of aroma throughout the day.

You can add a drop of essential oils to a Lava Stone included in your jewellery, to a piece you hold during meditation or you can scent your home by adding drops of oil to a bowl of Lava Stones. 

If you want to use Lava Stones for aromatherapy it is essential to buy the unwaxed versions - the waxed stones will not absorb the oil.

Always follow the usage instructions that come with essential oils and don’t apply undiluted oils directly to your skin.

Rose is thought to reduce stress and anxiety, offering a soothing effect that can enhance emotional well-being.

Roman Chamomile is believed to calm nerves and reduce anxiety by promoting relaxation.  

Geranium is thought to have a calming effect, reducing anxiety and promoting relaxation.  

Bergamot is believed to reduce the stress response which reduces anxiety.  

Frankincense is believed to have anti-anxiety benefits.
